I was
born in 1954 in paris, to a family of musicians and
painters.
My
father, who was American, took us to the USA, were I spent
my youth bathed in gospel, Jazz, blues, bluegrass and
of
course
the first cries of rock’n’ roll.
Back
in France at the beginnig of the sixties, more gifted at
inventing new toys and working with my hands than
excellingl at
school,
I began an apprenticeship in “cabinet making” aged 17, with
an old “ master companion “ and then at the
“ école
boule “ in Paris. Inspired by the birth of the rock sceene,
and being a musician myself, I naturally moved into
Lutherie
and spent some years learning the art of violon &
guitar making in various workshops.
For the
last 30 years, I have been “a ten hours a day “
professional Luthier, creating quite some personnal models
of Guitars
and
Basses, in addition to repairing and setting up thousands
of instruments.
Since
1993, I have the tremendous honor and pleasure to work
currently for John Mc LAUGHLIN, and also with
Dominique DI PIAZZA, as well as with Eric SEMPE, a
fantastic French guitarist.
These
models I am proud to present, were conceived in close
collaboration with these exceptional musicians. They are
the
result
and consécration of a life time of searching for perfection
in the electric guitar construction, in terms of
sound,
precision,
workmanship, materials and ergonomy.
These
instruments are individually hand crafted by myself
alone.
